SPARTAN-BETA – Official Cinematic Trailer

Six months in the writing, an all-star professional cast. SPARTAN-BETA is the latest masterpiece from Euphoria Films, revolving heavily around the post-Covenant era in the Halo world. After a prototype experiment undertaken by the UNSC’s Science and Technology department goes horribly awry, the UNSC’s Black Ops Division is sent to harness the wayward subject and bring it to justice. But little do they know that this experiment is one that is far more formidable than any of it’s SPARTAN predecessors.

C&C4 gameplay typically requires the player to construct an army and acquire resources, in order to fund the ongoing production of various types of forces with which to assault and conquer the opponent’s base. It will also differ greatly from many past games in the series, removing many past traditional elements and replacing them with elements from more recent and popular RTS games such as Dawn of War II such as the new interface and resource gathering system as well as base construction. Unlike in Tiberium Wars, it will feature class based gameplay as well as RPG elements. However unlike in previous games in the series it will not feature base building prominently with only the Defense Class able to build a full base, the other classes would only be able to construct armies using the Crawler.

Sam Raimi to Direct Warcraft Movie

The first big step in taking the Warcraft franchise to the big screen has just dropped.

Legendary Pictures and Blizzard Entertainment have announced that Sam Raimi, director of the Spider-Man trilogy, will be taking the reigns of the upcoming Warcraft movie.

Charles Roven, who previously worked on The Dark Knight, is set to produce the film alongside Raimi.

“At its core, Warcraft is a fantastic, action-packed story,” said Raimi. “I am thrilled to work with such a dynamite production team to bring this project to the big screen.”

Blizzard’s chief operating officer Paul Sams said Raimi is the best choice for the film.

“Blizzard Entertainment and Legendary Pictures have a shared vision for this film and we searched at length to find the very best director to bring that vision to life,” said Sams.

“From our first conversation with Sam, we could tell he was the perfect choice. Sam knows how to simultaneously satisfy the enthusiasts and the mainstream audience that might be experiencing that content for the first time. We’re looking forward to working with him to achieve that here.”

No other details, such as cast and a release date, were not made in this announcement. But who knows, with Comic-Con at hand, there may be more news coming.

Iron Man 2 – The Game Trailer

Iron Man 2 takes players into a richer and more interactive Iron Man world. The game allows players to take full advantage of the Iron Man suit as they battle awesome enemies in both interior and exterior environments, all inspired by the movie and comic book universes. Those environments will also offer a new level of destructibility that makes each encounter with enemies a more exciting and intense experience.

The development team at SEGA Studios San Francisco has also paid close attention to comments from fans and critics concerning the first Iron Man movie game. As a result of this feedback, Iron Man 2 will feature a greater focus on powerful hand-to-hand combat, as well as a completely redesigned control scheme, making it more fun for gamers to feel the power and strength of Iron Man.
