Max Payne 3 – Official Trailer [HD]

Max Payne 3 is a third-person shooter in which the player assumes the role of its titular character, Max Payne. Max Payne 3 will feature the over-the-shoulder zoom aiming and cover mechanics. However, these will just serve as garnish to the game’s classic run-and-gun shooting. Max Payne 3 will also make return of bullet-time in action sequences, which the franchise is notable for. In bullet time it will be possible to see every bullet make a hole in your foes. A “Last Man Standing” mechanic, which gives Max a reprieve from death for a small period if he’s got one painkiller on him. If the player is able fill the enemy that delivered the wounding shot with bullets he’ll recover enough energy to soldier on.

Gameplay in Mass Effect 3 will be influenced by decisions from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 and have settings throughout the galaxy, including Earth and Mars. Combat has been changed and refined; in particular, the cover system has been improved, there will be more options for moving around the battlefield, instant melee kills and more conventional grenades will be introduced as well as improved artificial intelligence. A four player multiplayer co-op mode will also be available.

Dead Block: Launch Trailer

Team up with your friends and blow up zombies with burgers in Dead Block in this trailer for the new zombie killing video game.

Dead Block, a suburban-zombie tower-defense title from Candygun Games, is hitting XBLA July 6, according to publisher Digital Reality. We first saw this date reported over the weekend at XBLA Fans; the only problem is, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson told us, “It’s not on the list that I have.” Remember, kids, Xbox Live Marketplace release dates are never official until Microsoft releases them!

… but we’re not sure about PlayStation Network, which Digital Reality says is scheduled to get its dose of Dead Block on July 20. Regardless of release dates, the cute-yet-crude take on the undead genre will be marked at 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 and the equivalent $10 on PSN.

Parasite ‘Alpha’ gameplay video

After escaping a military facility where she was victim of genetic experiments, The Subject crashes in UDM Barracuda, where she finds a new threat. To defend herself, The Subject can use either her fists or the abilities she got while she was being experimented on. However, her body didn’t fully accept the mutation, so using her powers is painful not only for her enemies but for herself, making her health go down every time she uses them.

The video reveals the first two classes of male enemies. More enemies (including female ones), and weapons will be shown in future videos.

This is an Alpha gameplay video, and some features may change for the final game.

SEGA of America, Inc and SEGA , Europe Ltd. today announced they will bring Marvel Entertainment’s famed Super Hero franchise Captain America to video game systems in an original WWII adventure, Captain America: Super Soldier. The title is scheduled for release in 2011 on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, PSP (PlayStation Portable) system, Wii and Nintendo DS .
