Set in the realm of brutal Greek mythology, God of War III is a single-player game that allows players to take on the climatic role of the ex-Spartan warrior, Kratos, as he scales through the intimidating heights of Mt. Olympus and the dark depths of Hell to seek revenge on those who have betrayed him. Armed with double-chained blades, and an array of new weapons and magic for this iteration of the trilogy, Kratos must take on mythology’s darkest creatures while solving intricate puzzles throughout his merciless quest to destroy Olympus.

Interactive and destructible environments bring a new layer of intensity to the battle stages featured in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast. Smash opponents into rocks to increase their damage count and gain the upper hand in battles.

There will be a variety of game modes in the new Dragon Balls title. The most important will be the Story mode that will follow Kid Goku’s adventures from the Red Ribbon Saga to the King Piccolo period but a lot of play time will surely be invested in the Versus mode, which allows characters to clash in battle.

In a trailer at the DKΣ3173 event in Tokyo in 2008, two antagonistic characters were featured: a high-ranking female commander with knee-length blond hair and glasses who interrogates the captive Vanille in the trailer, and an intimidating man wearing his hair up in a ponytail, who leads the Cocoon army.

The Unreal Engine is a popular game engine developed by Epic Games. First illustrated in the 1998 first-person shooter game Unreal, it has been the basis of many games since, including Unreal Tournament, Turok, Mass Effect, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas, America’s Army, Red Steel, Gears of War, BioShock, BioShock 2, Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror, Mirror’s Edge and so forth. Although primarily developed for first-person shooters, it has been successfully used in a variety of genres, including stealth (Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell), MMORPG (Vanguard: Saga of Heroes) as well as RPGs with Mass Effect, The Last Remnant, and Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

With its core written in C++, the Unreal Engine features a high degree of portability, supporting a multitude of platforms including Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac OS and Mac OS X on personal computers and many video game consoles including the Dreamcast, Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3 though the latest version of the Unreal Engine, UE3, doesn’t work on previous generation platforms. A great deal of the gameplay code is written in UnrealScript, a proprietary scripting language, and as such, large parts of the gameplay can be modified without delving deep into the engine internals. Additionally, as with other middleware packages, the Unreal Engine also provides various tools to assist with content creation, both for designers and artists.

The latest release is the Unreal Engine 3, which is designed around Microsoft’s DirectX 9 technology for 32/64-bit Windows XP/Windows Vista and Xbox 360 platforms, DirectX 10 for 32/64-bit Windows Vista, and OpenGL for 32/64-bit Linux, Mac OS X and PlayStation 3.

The addition of a supernatural realm, called The Veil. While in The Veil the player has access to certain special abilities, such as the power to slow down time, to get around obstacles that exist in the real world, or even to be able to defeat enemies that have an otherwise impenetrable shield.

Enter Heinrich Himmler’s feared SS and its plan to master an occult force known only as the Black Sun. With this mysterious power source at its disposal, no army on Earth could stand in the Reich’s path. The game play showed familiar game play from the previous installments as well as some new, for instance, Kratos can grab an enemy and use it in a battering ram-like action to push through other enemies. It also showed Kratos being able to control a Harpie for a short time to fly him by stabbing the Harpie a few times. This footage also showed the Cestus weapon in action. The Cestus are used in a boxing fashion to fight the enemies. It also showed the Cestus shoot chains from the ends of them and then use those chains to strike the enemy.

Robocalypse: Mobile Mayhem will be released in late summer 2009, for iPhone and iTouch. Robocalypse: Mobile Mayhem will feature all the humor, wit, content and strategy of the original game, and will feature touch-screen support and online multiplayer.
