Starz Media and Artificial Life chose Pandorum for development based on the intense action-packed storylines and flexibility to be re-created on the mobile platform. With extensive application development experience across various mobile platforms, Artificial Life will produce innovative game play for Starz Media that fully utilizes the touch screens and motion sensitive features of popular mobile devices.

From the producers of the Resident Evil film franchise comes Pandorum, a terrifying thriller in which two crew members, Dennis Quaid (Vantage Point, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) and Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma, Alpha Dog), wake up on an abandoned spacecraft with no idea who they are, how long they’ve been asleep, or what their mission is. The two soon discover they’re actually not alone — and the reality of their situation is more horrifying than they could have imagined. A Constantin Film/Impact Pictures Production, Pandorum is financed by Constantin Film under its joint venture deal with Impact Pictures, a Constantin Film subsidiary. Overture Films will release the film in North America this year on Labor Day weekend.

Two family-friendly titles under the EdiMon brand (EdiMon+ at $1.99 announced last month, and EdiMon full version at $3.99) are available now on the AppStore.

Just released EdiMon – a tribute to the digital pet TamagotchiT from the late 1990s – is a fun, fast-paced game that requires lightning-fast fingers to gain points in each of four mini-games:

Fitness (a weight lifting game), Wellness (a meditation game), Playtime (a guessing game), each of which has five levels of difficulty, and Hygiene (a task traditionally appearing in virtual pet games). As you play each mini-game, your pets’ emotions and “looks” will change based on how successfully you play – and how fast you play!

Your biggest challenge is to ensure EdiMon grows into a healthy, happy pet by reaching a “real life” balance of physical, mental, and emotional attributes. But watch out! If your gameplay upsets this balance, EdiMon will suddenly change mood and attitude which you must adjust right away! Your pet will show pity, anger, happiness, and pleasure – you’ll know exactly how EdiMon feels as you play the game. Remember to keep your virtual pet healthy and happy!

The game features five hand-drawn battlegrounds featuring a side-view perspective that lets you zoom in on the action. You have six different defense factions, each with their own unique abilities. Defender Chronicles includes five game modes — campaign, freestyle, extended classic and classic extended. The game also features seven original music soundtracks, spatial sound effects and voice-acting.

Robocalypse: Mobile Mayhem will be released in late summer 2009, for iPhone and iTouch. Robocalypse: Mobile Mayhem will feature all the humor, wit, content and strategy of the original game, and will feature touch-screen support and online multiplayer.

At its core cs.one is a fast paced 2.5D shooter powered by an inertia based physics system much like the classic arcade game Asteroids. Fans of Geometry Wars will find a similar aesthetic and enemy behavior with a larger battlefield, fixed objectives and fluid parallax movement. cs.one’s audio/visual effects, gameplay and Rez like environment were inspired by Cyberspace as described by William Gibson in his award winning Cyberpunk novel, Neuromancer and Neal Stephenson’s vision of the matrix in Snow Crash.

Half-Blood Prince will feature the exploration of Hogwarts and casting spells on objects around the school, similar to its predecessor Order of the Phoenix. The game will also include multiplayer games, classes, different times of day, Quidditch, Wizard Duels and Potion making.

The game features a campaign that can be played alone or cooperatively with one other local player via split-screen.

A port with improved graphics and gameplay was made for the iPhone OS by Ubisoft and was released on the App Store April 23, 2009.
