C&C4 gameplay typically requires the player to construct an army and acquire resources, in order to fund the ongoing production of various types of forces with which to assault and conquer the opponent’s base. It will also differ greatly from many past games in the series, removing many past traditional elements and replacing them with elements from more recent and popular RTS games such as Dawn of War II such as the new interface and resource gathering system as well as base construction. Unlike in Tiberium Wars, it will feature class based gameplay as well as RPG elements. However unlike in previous games in the series it will not feature base building prominently with only the Defense Class able to build a full base, the other classes would only be able to construct armies using the Crawler.
