Guitar Hero 5′s track list contains 85 songs by 83 separate artists, and like previous Guitar Hero games, several musicians with works in the game have been modeled through motion capture for avatars in the game, including Johnny Cash, Carlos Santana, Shirley Manson, Kurt Cobain, and Matthew Bellamy. The game continues to support the user-created music studio introduced in World Tour through GHTunes, and additional downloadable content for the game will be made available. A majority of existing downloadable tracks from World Tour are forward-compatible with Guitar Hero 5, along with selected tracks from World Tour and Guitar Hero Smash Hits.

Similar to the preceding title, Guitar Hero World Tour, Guitar Hero 5 is geared towards playing in a four-person band experience, including lead and bass guitar, drums, and vocals. New features have been added to the game from World Tour.

The storyline begins with just an innocent drop of rainwater that falls upon a ramshackle Moogle house. However, this minor event unleashes a nightmare never-before-seen in the history of Moogle-kind.

After getting seperated from the others, Egon Spengler and the Rookie eventually tracked her down to her lair within a twisted spider lair of the Sedgewick Hotel. After an intense battle with the demonic murderess, the duo managed to defeat the creature.

Spider Witch looks like Spiderlegs, evil ghost from The Real Ghostbusters episode The Ransom of Greenspud.

Coming out for the PS2, Nintendo Wii and DS, Scooby-Doo! First Frights is a 3D action platformer. The style isn’t based on a specific show, but all the characters have a younger look to them ala “A Pup Named Scooby Doo”.

Most of the demo involved beating off the enemies. Players can switch between the characters on screen, and Scooby and Shaggy had different attacks. Scooby uses a chain of sausage links as nunchucks to smack enemies. Shaggy has a slingshot and is more of a ranged attack character.

The new “Big Slam” mechanic allows the player to bring four consecutive batters up. If the first batter misses the pitch, but if contact is made, a single will automatically register. This will continue until the 4th batter is reached. If the first three players reached base by making contact, the 4th batter, upon making contact, will automatically hit a grand slam.

Become a Legend in a mode where the player creates a character who enters the league, eventually is drafted, and then tried to reach “Legendary Status”.
