Will Metal Gear Rising live up to expectations?

Kojima announced Metal Gear Rising for the xbox 360 and playstation3 at E3. This is a great news especially for the gamers who don’t own a ps3 to play the exclusive metal gear solid 4. This spin off will feature Raiden as the main character for this game, any other details about this game haven’t been shared with the public at this moment. But one main thing Kojima made clear that he will not have any involvement in this game unlike his next game metal gear peace walker for the psp. A sequel to Metal gear portable ops and Metal gear solid 3. Here’s the announcement that every xbox 360 owner has been waiting for but not quite the surprise they thought it was.

Kojima was very quick to correct him by saying Solid Snake won’t be involved. This doesn’t mean it can’t or won’t happen but then again he’s not behind this project. Now at sony’s press conference he said this would be the true sequel for the metal gear solid franchise, he emphasis that he will be deeply involved with this project along with the original team who produced the metal gear solid 4. This next game is not a spinoff or a side story, giving it all the features of the psp has to offer; making this a true metal gear solid sequel.
